EDUCATION IN HIGH SCHOOL STAGE

Knowledge with direction. Education with perspective

The high school program at the “Evlogi and Hristo Georgievi” Private School was established with the clear vision that the school should prepare young people not merely for successful graduation, but for the next major step: applying to prestigious universities, pursuing a professional career, and navigating an increasingly globalized world with confidence.
The education combines strong academic preparation, foreign languages, modern technologies, and international opportunities, equipping students with knowledge, practical skills, and a real advantage for the future.
⸻
English – the international language of success
English language instruction focuses on achieving a high academic standard and confidence in an international environment. Students receive targeted preparation for the IELTS exams as well as for the prestigious Cambridge English C1 Advanced and C2 Proficiency certificates—some of the most highly recognized language qualifications in the world.
The certificates obtained facilitate university applications worldwide and build confidence for fluent academic and professional communication.
⸻
Chinese Language – Education Without Borders
Chinese language instruction is a distinctive feature of our school’s curriculum. At the high school level, students prepare for the HSK 5 and HSK 6 international exams—levels that open up opportunities for study, employment, and professional advancement within Chinese academic and business environments.
Learning the language is much more than mastering grammar and vocabulary. It opens doors to one of the world’s fastest-growing economies, builds intercultural competence, and creates opportunities for a future international career.
⸻
“Informatics and Information Technologies” Profile
The program focuses on practical application and the real-world challenges of the modern digital landscape. In addition to the core curriculum, students work on practical case studies and tasks similar to those encountered daily by universities, businesses, and government institutions.
The training is conducted by instructors with extensive academic and professional experience who bring the real-world work environment into the classroom.
Students acquire in-depth skills in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access, as well as databases, internet technologies, and specialized software.
Particular attention is paid to cybersecurity, personal data protection, and the responsible use of digital technologies.
Gradually, students also delve into one of the most rapidly evolving fields—artificial intelligence. They study its fundamental principles, neural networks, and the practical applications of AI in the modern world.
The training includes Python programming, and in the 11th and 12th grades, students work with the specialized environments R and SPSS—widely used in universities, scientific research, and data analysis.
⸻
Language camps in China
Even during their studies, students have the opportunity to participate in annual language camps in China. This marks their first encounter with the authentic linguistic and cultural environment, where their knowledge comes to life beyond the classroom.
The program combines intensive Chinese language study with a rich cultural program, visits to historical landmarks, meetings with local students, and participation in various educational and creative activities.
The camps foster independence, adaptability, and confidence, enabling students to use the language naturally and build a genuine connection with Chinese culture.
⸻
One-month university exchange in Shanghai
For students who wish to take the next step, the school offers a one-month exchange at a university in Shanghai.
The program places participants in a real academic environment where they study Chinese in a university setting, work with instructors, and interact with students from various countries.
This stay offers young people the opportunity to experience the rhythm of university life in China and to build independence, confidence, and valuable international experience even before applying to a higher education institution.
⸻
Preparation for studies at prestigious universities in China
For students planning to pursue higher education in China, the school offers comprehensive academic preparation tailored to the requirements of leading Chinese universities.
Through the CSCA program, students undergo in-depth training in mathematics and physics, which builds the necessary foundation for applying to engineering, technology, and natural science degree programs.
⸻
Academic courses in Beijing
As the next step in their preparation, students have the opportunity to participate in specialized academic courses in Beijing. There, they work with university lecturers in mathematics and physics, familiarize themselves with the academic standards of leading Chinese universities, and gain a realistic insight into the studies that await them.
The program focuses entirely on academic preparation and is not a language course. It develops knowledge, analytical thinking, and confidence, supporting successful applications and future studies at prestigious universities in China.
⸻
Why choose the high school stage at “Evlogi and Hristo Georgievi” Private School?
Because here, education does not end with a diploma. It builds the knowledge, confidence, and international experience that prepare young people for their next big step—whether that leads to a university in Bulgaria, China, or anywhere else in the world.
Languages, technologies, international programs, and academic preparation are becoming a comprehensive development pathway that helps students turn their dreams into real opportunities.
